Health Impacts: Acetic acid can cause skin and eye irritation. It is also harmful if swallowed or inhaled, and can cause organ damage if exposed to it for long periods of time or if you are repeatedly exposed to it. Acetic acid is also toxic to the reproductive system, unborn children, and aquatic life.
