Health Impacts: Cetylpyridinium chloride is harmful if swallowed, can cause skin and eye irritation leading to serious eye damage. Cetylpyridinium chloride can be fatal if inhaled causing respiratory irritation. Cetylpyridinium chloride has shown that decreases fertility in animals and is toxic to aquatic life.
