Description:

CI 16185 is a synthetic azo dye. It is used as a colorant in foods, drugs, and cosmetics in some countries. In the U.S., FD&C Red No. 2 (Amaranth) was delisted and is not permitted for use in foods, drugs, or cosmetics.
