Description:

Glyoxal is a reactive dialdehyde and can act as a formaldehyde-releasing preservative in some products. Formaldehyde-releasing preservatives help control microbial growth by releasing low levels of formaldehyde over time. Glyoxal is also used as a biocide, disinfectant, and processing agent in multiple industries.
