Description:
Maneb is a manganese-containing dithiocarbamate fungicide formerly used to control fungal diseases on fruits, vegetables, and field crops. Historical exposure occurred during pesticide manufacture or application and through residues in agricultural environments. Maneb pesticide registrations were canceled in the United States in 2010, and it is not approved for use in plant-protection products in the European Union.
